The University of Warsaw Collegium Musicum Chamber Choir to sing two concerts in Cape Town on July 8 and 11, 2018.

At two concerts in Cape Town UW Collegium Musicum will sing a cappella repertoire with most significant and important pieces of Polish choral music: sacred pieces of Renaissance and Baroque, contemporary music inspired by Polish folklore (including works of world famous composer Henryk Mikołaj Górecki), and in the end – vocal arrangements of Polish pop and jazz songs.

The concerts will take place:
- on Sunday, July 8, at 19:00 in St Mary’s Catholic Cathredral of Cape Town (tickets – R100 – from July 2 in the Cathedral and by the Cathedral’s door before the concert),
- on Wednesday, July 11, at 19:00 in St Michael’s Catholic Church in Rondebosch (Rouwkoop Rd, off Main Rd), admission free.

A week before Cape Town concerts the Choir will participate in 10. World Choir Games in Tshwane as the only choir from Poland among nearly 300 choirs from all over the world.
